Full-time

Why this Role, why now

We have more opportunities than we can currently pursue. Demand for data center capacity in Europe is growing faster than the supply of suitable sites. We know where those sites are but we need someone who consistently turns that into closed deals.

This is a new role. You will help build the acquisitions process from the ground up: sourcing, quick-scan evaluation, negotiation, and purchase agreement. You work directly with the founders and have full visibility into the strategy.

What you will do

Identify promising sites through owners, municipalities, brokers, and your own network, and assess them against the criteria that matter to us

Lead initial conversations with landowners and vendors, build trust, and introduce deal structures that work for both sides.

Manage multiple tracks in parallel and keep the internal pipeline clear and current, from first contact through to signing.

Spot opportunities in sectors we are not yet actively working, anywhere heavy grid connections are being released.

Help develop our acquisitions framework: scoring criteria, dealbreaker logic, reporting structure.

Who we are looking for

You have closed deals that did not close themselves.

Background matters less to us than evidence that you can negotiate, identify opportunities before others do, and operate comfortably without a predefined playbook. That could be real estate, energy infrastructure, industrial assets - or something else entirely.

Demonstrable experience closing complex transactions independently - real estate, industrial assets, energy infrastructure, or comparable

You understand how landowners, municipalities, and grid operators think, or you get up to speed fast

You can read a financial model and identify where a deal is vulnerable

You are used to long lead times with no guaranteed outcome - and that does not unsettle or rush you

About House of Data

About House of Data

Every AI workload and every connected system needs somewhere to run. That somewhere is a datacenter - and right now, Europe does not have enough of them. The bottleneck is not capital. It is not construction. It is finding the right sites. That is what House of Data is built around.

We develop and operate datacenters on locations others overlook. We are less than a year old, and already running multiple live acquisition tracks, and now building the team to scale it. Our edge is speed, independence, and the ability to structure complex deals before the large players see them coming.
